I came to know Nobody Jones as a voice I stumbled upon cutting through a crowd nearly two years ago. I came to love them as a rollicking, reverent tornado of desperate Americana. They quickly became my favorite group in town. Exclusively a live act until now, their first offering - “Missing Person” - is something brand new. It’s sparser, skinnier; a collection of mostly unheard songs that depart into the identity of Nobody. It takes me back to the voice heard through the crowd floating above the singer. Country music untethered to time and place. Air music that brushes against the back of your neck.
